Yes, great idea.... I also love the 80's people have forgotten that there were leg warmers and big hair, music videos on MTV, Record and Tapes.. and so much more.... Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of my favorite 80's movies... you have good taste...

I love the 80s too I'd definitely watch it, especially if it's set in the UK.
I loved the 80s - the music (great range of different music that was really good too), the fun clothes, it was brilliant. I love watching films from then.
People my age will love the nostalgia and younger people will have a good laugh at the 'technology' and the clothes.
