Answer #1:
Your grandmother is looking at your entire future. She thinks that a degree in math will take you further than a degree in film making. You need to do what you think is best but be happy you have a grandmother that cares this much for you.
Answer #2:
"life is about taking risks if you cant take risks than whats worth living"by suzzanne McDevitt
but ya just tell her that your heart is in a diffrent place now and that you will still tale your math but you are also going to be taking film and eventually you will choose a path.its your life so how will you know film is what you want if you dont jump. nobody in their life should ever be wondering what if right
Answer #3:
If your grandmother is familiar with careers in math as well as film then you should give her opinion much thought. However, if you are more familiar with choices and availability in those fields, then you are better equipped to make that decision. If neither of you is familiar with the availability of positions in those areas then you should both do some research. Getting a job is the goal so pinpoint that spot in your future and show your grandmother the number of available positions that you are going to be qualified for that are available now and keep track of that during your collegiate years. Being prepared like that will prevent embarrassing floundering when you graduate. It may take a while, but you will most likely gain her approval and her respect as well. Hold on to your dreams and good luck.** Powered by Yahoo Answers
